The Linguistic Bibliography Online provides nearly 250.000 bibliographical references to scholarly publications in linguistics.
It covers all branches of linguistics, both theoretical and descriptive, from all geographical areas.
The emphasis is on non-Indo-European languages and lesser known Indo-European languages, including
endangered and extinct languages. It is by far the most comprehensive bibliography in the field.

SimplyMap is an Internet-based mapping application that enables users to develop interactive thematic maps and reports using thousands of demographic, business, and marketing data variables. Professional mapping applications take over 20 hours of training to use, but we have designed SimplyMap to be incredibly user friendly – most users are up and running with less than 10 minutes of training.

Trial entitles access to the following Environics Analytics Group ® Data Packages;  Adjusted Census Data from the year 2006, Current Estimates and Five Year Projections & the 2009 Household Expenditure Potential (HEP).  It also includes the D&B Canadian Business Directory.

Adjusted Census Data: The Adjusted 2006 Census provides clients with a new alternative to the 2006 Census that adjusts for the effects of random rounding and suppression while maintaining a
strong relationship to the Statistics Canada data. This unique product reduces the amount of missing data through proprietary interpolation procedures. In any Census release, random
rounding is applied to the data as one of several privacy protection measures that, while important, results in variable summations that do not match published totals and percentages that
range around 100. The Adjusted Census ensures that variable categories are internally consistent, thereby allowing the creation of realistic percentages.

Household Expenditure Potential (HEP): The Environics Analytics Household Expenditure Potential (HEP) is based upon Statistics Canada’s Survey of Household Spending for 2004. More
than 24,000 private households across all Provinces and Territories were asked detailed questions on their spending patterns. A variety of statistical methods were utilized to model
average number of dollars spent by category for each Dissemination Area. This product is used to estimate spending behavior of Canadians at any geographic level, from Canada down to a
local trade area. Total dollars and average dollars can be investigated. HEP is provided at the Dissemination Area (DA) level. For each DA, estimated average dollar
values are provided for average household income, average household expenditure and 239 categories of expenditure. In addition, total estimated households for 2009 are provided.

The Household Expenditure Potential (HEP) incorporates the following:

• Total Expenditure
• Total homeowner repairs and renovations

The Canadian D&B’s Business Directory incorporates 1.3 million Canadian businesses with the following data fields:

• Legal name
• Business name
• NAIC codes & SIC Code
• Address
• Telephone number
• Web address
• General description.
