Electronic Enlightenment offers unrivalled access to the web of correspondence between the greatest thinkers and writers of the 18th century and their families and friends, bankers and booksellers, patrons and publishers.  Cross-search letters from more than 6,500 writers, scientists, philosophers, politicians, political thinkers and others.  Electronic Enlightenment is a scholarly research project of the University of Oxford Humanities Division and is available exclusively from Oxford University Press.  New letters and documents will be added to this database twice per year.
