TRIAL: World Christian Database

The World Christian Database provides comprehensive statistical information on world religions, Christian denominations, and people groups. Extensive data are available on 9,000 Christian denominations, 13,000 ethnolinguistic peoples, as well as data on 5,000 cities, 3,000 provinces and 238 countries.

All major world religions are accounted for … Hundreds of religious and secular statistics are related to each major religion in the World Christian Database. Specifically, major religions can be viewed against hundreds of attributes including: religious attributes, country, people group, and demographic data. The religion statistics can be sorted against geography (238 countries and/or 5,000 cities) or by over 13,000 people groups.

Upcoming Scholars Portal outage

Apologies but it looks like we will need to bring some Scholars Portal services down again for an hour or two on Sunday night starting at 10pm to restart a raid controller on the network storage array.  This will effect RefWorks users, E-Journals users, and Illumina users.

This title does not appear to exist any longer at the indicated URL of http://ojjs.icaap.org/. I sent an email message to the site administrator; she indicated that it had actually moved some time ago, and gave me a contact address for someone who might know what’s going on. As soon as I hear anything, I’ll let you know.
